Like so many of our team, Kayla started her career in veterinary medicine as a Kennel Technician in 2005 and joined Butler Creek Animal Hospital in 2013.
Kayla says what she loves most at Butler Creek Animal Hospital is working alongside our amazing veterinarians. She also loves that veterinary medicine is ever-evolving and oftentimes a rapid-paced field; there is never a dull moment! Senior pet care also holds a special place in her heart.
Kayla is a Certified Veterinary Business Leader and is also certified as an Office Accounting Specialist and Payroll Accounting Specialist. She is a member of the Georgia Veterinary Managers Association (GAVMA). When she has spare time, she loves going fishing with her 2 sons, Rylie and Dakota, and cooking. (She often finds any reason she can to cook for our staff!) She has 3 dogs (Lil Girl the Blue Heeler, Slinky the miniature Dachshund, and a Pitbull/Boxer mix named Rosie), two cats named Nova and Nugget, and a turtle named Elsa.
