Dr. Lindsay McClintock has had a deep passion for animals ever since she was a young girl.
Dr. McClintock began her career in veterinary medicine as a Kennel Assistant in 2000 and decided to pursue becoming a veterinarian while she was in college at Clemson University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 2003, Dr. McClintock continued her education at Texas A&M University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She moved to the Atlanta area immediately after graduation and has practiced as a small animal practitioner in the Atlanta area ever since. Dr. McClintock joined the Butler Creek Animal Hospital team in August 2015, and she is proud to serve the animal owners and pets of West Cobb. She says she loves the flexibility working at Butler Creek Animal Hospital allows - she's able to do what she loves by practicing veterinary medicine while still having time for her family.
As a veterinarian, Dr. McClintock has a special interest in fostering the human-animal bond! "A happy and healthy pet makes for a happier and healthier owner!" she states. Along with educating owners on preventative care, she also enjoys solving the puzzles of internal medicine. Her favorite surgery is a cystotomy (bladder stone removal). She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, and Cobb County Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. McClintock and her husband of 14 years have 3 children together, 2 boys and a girl. They currently have 2 dogs: Eevee the lab mix and Kelly, a shepherd mix. Both of which are rescues. Family is very important to Dr. McClintock, so when she's not at work she's staying busy with her kids by volunteering at their school or taking them to baseball, football, swimming, and dance lessons. Dr. McClintock is also a HUGE Clemson fan, and can usually be found wearing purple or orange any day of the week!
